About Me

I grew up in the midwest (Ohio & Illinois) and moved around quite a bit during my college years and mid-twenties.  I got a degree in theatre (Masters in stage management and technical production) and was fortunate enough to work in my chosen profession for more than 10 years, stage managing Off Broadway productions in NYC and various regional theaters around the country.

In 2004 I stopped stage managing because I wanted to focus on my life instead of just my career.  If I'd stayed in theatre I would have missed out on so many things that are important to me, like meeting the love of my life and starting a family.  

In May of 2007 I met my future husband, Jeff, through the popular online dating site eHarmony. Yes, we are one of those success couples!  We just didn't land the tv commercial.  All we got were a couple of t-shirts.  From that point on, it's been a whirlwind.  We got engaged in May of 2008, married in April of 2009 in the most perfect beach setting you could imagine, and I got pregnant in June of 2009!  Add into the mix a cross country move to the Seattle, Washington area in November of 2009, and the birth of our first son, Simon, in March of 2010 and you're pretty much caught up to speed.  Right now I have the luxury of being a stay-at-home mom.  It's quite an adjustment for me, but I wouldnt have it any other way! In my spare time I like to knit, read, and play tennis.

Our family is rounded out with 4 adorable cats: Oliver, Gideon, Emma, and Cosmo.
